Janos Varga was on a bus headed for the Tsawwassen ferry terminal Saturday afternoon when he realized his vacation plans would likely have to be rejigged.''At a certain point, we could see that police were blocking the road, and the bus was going slower and slower and slower,'' Mr. Varga said yesterday morning in the terminal, where he had returned to make a journey thwarted by a bomb threat that delayed thousands of travellers.

I took my dog over to North Vancouver last week to check out the Presentation House Gallery show To the Dogs.The exhibition, to which dogs are welcome, has generated a lot of press. A ''quite astounding'' amount, according to assistant curator Jordan Strom, who has been on Breakfast Television and Fanny Kiefer's show in the past month, exposure that I gather is more or less unheard of in the curatorial community.
