Vancouver police are investigating the city's 15th homicide.A 42-year-old woman was stabbed to death Friday night in a rooming house in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.Police say the woman came out of her room and into the hallway, yelling that she had been stabbed.

False name, lack of licence net driver four months in jail

Notorious street racer Cliff Tang will be back on the streets in three months after pleading guilty to driving without a licence and giving a false name when caught.On July 29, Mr. Tang - his given name is Kwok Kei Tang - was pulled over by Richmond RCMP for driving without a licence plate, police said. When asked, he gave a false name and address. The 32-year-old was then taken into custody.
