End of two-month strike may be in sight at last

Vancouver's two-month-old strike could be resolved within a week, with both parties agreeing to evaluate written recommendations from mediator Brian Foley.Last week, the city and its inside and outside unions agreed to Mr. Foley as a mediator, with three days of discussions following. Both parties will make verbal and written submissions to Mr. Foley, who will then issue his non-binding recommendations.
